Harvest mouse note card
This notecard features my watercolor illustration of a harvest mouse on a shaft of wheat, nibbling the tiniest nugget of grain.
This cute little mouse is one of the smallest rodents and not considered a nuisance animal because it doesn’t invade homes or eat enough seeds to damage crops, and it also eats insects. Although nearly identical in appearance, the Western harvest mouse, native to North America, and the Eurasian one are distinct species. Text on the back tells you more about them; choose the Western or Eurasian version.
