This note card features my watercolor illustration of St. Drogo sitting on the ground with a lamb at his side. He’s holding a coffee cup in reference to his ironic designation as the patron saint of coffee and coffee shops. Also of sheep and shepherds.
Text on the back offers a little background and explanation, noting that he was a 12th century saint, that the coffee patronage cannot be explained, and then adds: “Saint Drogo teaches us to not envy the wealthy, hang with gentle beings, enjoy a cuppa, and be inexplicable.”
